Welcome to the companion blog to the Labyrinth Library podcast! I’ve been doing this podcast since 2009 and look forward to it every week. On Thursday mornings (Japan time), I put up a new review of a book that I thought would be interesting to talk about. Each episode is usually 10-15 minutes in length – perfect for a short drive or to take up time on a bus ride!
Lost in the Stacks is a monthly adjunct podcast (updated on the last weekend of the month) in which I talk about broader issues relating to reading and books. Anything is up for discussion, from the way we promote and teach reading to the politics of authors to trends and themes in books.
My reading interests range from science fiction and fantasy to popular science, history and politics to graphic novels, humorous essays, philosophy, horror, mystery, and just about anything else I can get my hands on.
